Here´s what I do...
I write. Whatever comes along, in German and in English. From books (my eighth book, the novel "Cattolini Erbt", hit stores in August of 2012, my Glauser nominated "Geier" is currently in Kindle and selling really well, as is its sequel, the brand new "Aasgeier", which would make my total output three non-fiction books, two textbooks and four novels) and magazine articles to newspaper opinion, literary contributions to museum catalogs, ad spots and features for broadcast. After a long, varied career in rock, reggae and blues radio (FM stations in California, usually freeform, and almost three decades of California-based broadcast journalism for German radio stations), a fair amount of voice-overs (from Italian restaurants and Far Eastern airline spots to half-hour long new product instruction videos for German gardening supply dealers) and all the associated translation and editing, I now concentrate on writing novels, keeping the grass on our two acres at the lake short enough and doing my bit to keep Hot Springs a very happening arts town. Which is just about enough for an old guy.
And since most of my writing has been and will be in German, most of this site also is.
